Thor: Scandinavian Viking
The Norse God of thunder and lightning, the sky, war and (like several others) a fertility god. He was a favourite of the ‘common people’, and seems to have been a much more popular god than most of the others. He is seen as a good bloke, has a bit of a temper and a huge appetite for the good things in life. He could take a joke well (generally) but was also pretty quick to take revenge if he’d been made to look a fool.
Despite what Marvel wants you to believe, Thor has long flowing red hair and a bushy red beard. His weapon is Mjolnir, a hammer made for him as by the dwarfs. You can read about the bet that was made and why there’s a manufacturing fault with it. Still, it’s a pretty awesome weapon, and will return to Thor when he throws it. He also wears a belt called Megingjard, which doubles his strength.
He rides around the sky in a chariot drawn by his two magical goats, fighting his enemies the Frost Giants. When you see lightning and heart thunder, that’s Thor throwing Mjolnir.
This cache is on publicly accessible land. There's plenty of Thor's power near here, but hopefully you don’t see it shooting across the sky!
BYOP, room for small swaps only.
It is fitting that the FTF honours for cache named after a Norse god go to a hero of Canberra caching: congratulations, Tankengine!
