Geocache Description:

Pillbox FW3/26 Ferring

The cache is a 10mm Diameter Flip Top Tube


This restored but completely sealed Pillbox is of type FW3/26. During World War II, these bunkers were used for the defence of the United Kingdom against a possible enemy invasion. They were built in 1940 and into 1941 

Straighforward multi-cache with just a short walk to the hide. At the posted coordinates you will find a plaque mounted on the Pillbox

On the plaque, second paragraph, first line, first figure in date = A

Last line, day of date = B - 2

Now shimmie round to the East side of box where you will find another smaller plaque

Number of letters in christian name = C

Second figure of day = D - 1

Checksum of ALL individual numbers = 51

The cache can be found at N50 48.A6B W000 26.CDB
