While I was hiking this trail for the first time, I saw so many interesting features, this one had my attention for a while. It is amazing how mighty Oak trees can be, this one that hides my ammo can cache, was fallen long ago, and still is alive, surrounded by some awesome Tafoni caves, this is a place I'm sure many hikers miss.
At the posted coords, your at the West Trailhead for Lizard Trail, look on the Trail Marker, near the bottom is a utility tag with words on it.
Count the number of Letters on the tag
Multiply the number of Letters by 265.5 and use that number to Replace the last 4 digits of the North posted coords.
Multiply the number of Letters by 309.9 and use that number to Replace the last 4 digits of the West posted coords.
Plug those numbers into your GPS devise and head for the Final Location of the Cache.
Final Location = N33 3X.XXX W117 4X.XXX
When you are about 60ft from the final, there is a small path near a small tree close to the main trail, enter there, there is a small amount of PO but easily avoidable, and continue towards the caves till you see the fallen Oak.
Explore this spot, it is very scenic, look for a SPOR near the base of the oak. Be sure to replace better than found to keep it safe, lots of room for trades.
