But this is what everyone has come to know as Mill Hill, and the old mill was just off in the woods here as you can see one of the walls still standing (hopefully its still standing when you get here), this is the end of Mill Brook. Even though most locals know this as Mill Hill, I'm not sure how many even know why, some get a good view of this mill wall as their cars end up sideways here in the winter. Although its not nearly as bad as it used to be, before they widened the highway in the late 80's the road actuall followed the lay of the land, and way much steeper. But I really just wanted people to see the remiains of the mill, I would have put a container in the wall but I don't know who owns the land, or how stable the wall is, approaching the wall is not advised.
