You can find all sorts of good information regarding the Black Hills National Forest at this cache site. Make sure and visit inside if the office is open. You can get a free Motor Vehicle Use Map inside which is extremely useful when caching around the Black Hills. It shows all roads that are open for vehicle use along with any associated restrictions. Remember that just because a road is driveable, does not mean that it is legal to drive on it.
This cache was originally placed as part of the Southern Hills Discovery Tour.
There is no need to disturb or tear up any of the landscaping in the area. You should be able to spot and retrieve from the cement walkway or the crushed rock on top. There are a few goodies in the cache provided by the office at the cache location.
