LRT23 / Central Saanich Traditional Cache

I have cycled past this wee parklette (?) many times and thought that there should be a cache here, just a wee simple one.  

Cycling is the best way to approach this cache.

Yes, a simple one.  But nothing stays simple.  There are a few challenges.

First is parking.  DO NOT park on the very nearby road or bike lane.  DO NOT!!!! PARK or EVEN STOP on the highway! DO PARK on the very nearby dead end street, or perhaps around the corner.  The cache description includes the coordinates of the nearby parking spot.

Second is access.  Yup, close to the road, but there is a ditch to jump or scramble over.  Easy right now as the cache was set - mid June - but it could get quite slippery come the rainy season.

Third is related to the 'shy factor'.  As you guys are extracting the log from the container, folks on the very nearby highway may think that you are doing, er, a private thing.    But not to worry: it should be a quick find and sign.

The cache name? The cache is very close to a sign telling folks headed south that they have just entered Central Saanich and the kilometre post for kilometre 23 of the Lochside Trail is close by as well.
