The East Bay Bike Path is a 14.5 mile bike path that covers five towns in Rhode Island spanning from India Point Park in Providence down to Independence Park in Bristol. Among the many caches along the EBBP is the NHL Series we put out in 2014. While four caches in the series had to unfortunately be archived (sorry Red Wings, Oilers, Senators and Lightning fans), 26 caches for teams still remain, along with the Thrashers, which are a defunct team that relocated to Winnipeg in 2011.
Like the Thrashers, some other teams couldn't quite make it in the league for a variety of reason. Below you will find seven now defunct NHL teams that will lead you to the cache. Good luck!
