This cache is placed on a foot and cycle bridge which links the campuses of Northumbria University. There has been a cache here before and it is muggle central but as it is a great place to walk I thought I would give it a try and see how long it lasts.
This bridge spans over both the Metro line and central motorway was commissioned by Northumbria University to link it's city centre campus and it's brand new state of the art City Campus East. It was opened in 2008 by the then Minister of State for Food and Industry, Lord Digby Jones. The cost of the bridge was £4 million, it spans 95m and is 6m wide. It's 80 Tonne bridge deck was installed in May 2007 using one of the largest cranes in the country with over 1000 Tonne lifting capacity. The cache is placed on the metro span of the bridge and is a disco. It is hidden in plane sight please be as stealthy as you can and replace as found. BYOP Congratulations to DuchessGee on the FTF.
