KHT Link #1 Traditional Cache

These link caches are placed as part of the Knettishall Heath Trail and can shorten the walk to take you back to the car parks. From this cache you can either walk back to the main car park or take the path through to the river and continue with the cache series. 

You may be lucky enough to see the herd of Exmoor ponies which have free range over much of the heath. You will be crossing stock fencing via kissing gates at points on the walk so please be warned that you will have to lift buggies and bikes. Please follow notices re keeping dogs on leads in some areas.

The walk follows various way-marked trails which are marked on the map on #1 where you will also find parking information. Most caches are close to a path.

The hides are varied in size and difficulty and you will need to bring tweezers and a pen. We do hope you will enjoy this new series.
