This cache is NOT at the posted coordinates!
You are about to embark on a journey in search of a letterbox geocache.
The coordinates posted will take you to the parking lot near the cache location.
To locate the cache do the following:
1. At the parking lot, go to the Corner Post Waypoint (N 41 35.913 W 103 06.850).
2. From the Corner Post Waypoint make a projected waypoint at a bearing of 45 degrees for 453 feet or start walking to the east counting the fence posts as you make your way across the prairie. Do not count the corner post. Stop at the 25th fence post.
3. You should be able to locate the letterbox/geocache from this point.
You are looking for an ammo can a few feet from the fence line. You do NOT need to cross the fence. Inside this letterbox/geocache you will find a log book, ink pad and a rubber stamp along with many kid friendly trade items. If you take something please leave something in trade. PLEASE, LEAVE THE LETTERBOX STAMP in the cache along with the ink pad and log book so others can stamp their letterbox book if they want to. The original trade items included Speed Shorts Model Car Kit, Sizzlers Noise Magnets, Crawling Butterfly, Pencil, Wind Chime, Hot Wheels Car and a Glow in the Dark Jewelry Pack. Please return the cache exactly as you found it.
Weather conditions may make the dirt road muddy or drifted, choose your day wisely. Also be aware rattlesnakes may be present in this area.
To get credit for this cache, you must sign the log book in the cache with your geocaching and/or letterboxing name. Geocacher’s do NOT have to stamp the log. You are welcome to add any additional messages in the log book about your experience finding the letterbox. “Found It” logs that do not match the physical log book in the cache will be deleted.
