[IT]"Sepolti da mina nemica qui dormono mille figli d'Italia"
Il monte Cimone è stato teatro di una delle fasi più terribili della prima guerra mondiale. Il 23 Settembre del 1916 gli austriaci fecero brillare una mina in un tunnel scavato sotto la cima del monte dove erano situate le linee italiane. Il bilancio fu 1128 vittime, scomparse insieme a parte della vetta, come è possibile ancora vedere.
Rimangono parecchie testimonianze della presenza del fronte in questo luogo, come ad esempio le imboccature delle gallerie scavate dai soldati, nonchè delle trincee di cui la zona è disseminata.
Questo cache vuole rendere testimonianza ad un luogo storico e importante per il ruolo che ricopre nella memoria della Grande Guerra. Anche se legato a momenti bui della storia, questo luogo può suscitare riflessioni di pace tra i popoli e speranza verso il futuro.

Note:
In inverno l'accesso alla strada può essere impedito dalle abbondanti nevicate, inoltre in presenza di ghiaccio il fondo stradale può essere pericoloso. L'auto va lasciata nell'apposito parcheggio. Il luogo è sacro, quindi non è possibile organizzare nelle sue immediate vicinanze attività non consone (pic-nic, giochi all'aperto, musica...) e si raccomanda il massimo rispetto. Il contenitore è accessibile anche in inverno a meno di nevicate molto abbondanti che possono averne impedito totalmente l'accesso. In caso di neve è consigliato l'uso di ciaspole e abbigliamento adeguato (in questo caso l'esperienza sarà però ancora più bella grazie alla maestosità dello spettacolo della natura).

The cimone was the scene of one of the worst phases of the First World War. On 23 September 1916 the Austrians were exploded a mine in a tunnel dug under the top of the mountain where they were located the Italian lines. The budget was 1,128 victims, disappeared along with part of the summit, as you can still see.
There remain plenty of allegations of the presence of face in this place, such as the entrance of the tunnels dug by soldiers, as well as the trenches of which the area is dotted.
This cache wants to bear witness to a historical and important place for the role it plays in the memory of the Great War. Although tied to the dark moments of history, this place can arouse thoughts of peace among peoples and hope for the future.

Note:
During winter road access can be prevented by the heavy snowfall, also in the presence of ice on the road surface can be dangerous. The car should be left into the parking lot. The place is sacred, so you can not organize its immediate surroundings activity that are not allowed (picnics, outdoor games, music ...) and it is recommended the utmost respect. The cache is also accessible in the winter unless very heavy snowfall that may have prevented all access. In case of snow it is recommended to use snow shoes and appropriate clothing (in this case, however, the experience will be even more beautiful thanks to the majesty of the spectacle of nature).
