From the Parking Waypoint (N50 37.001 W003 31.633) head towards the footpath at N50 37.004 W003 31.599. Follow this to Mamhead Point A.K.A The Top of the World (N50 37.033 W003 31.207). The view from here is second to none. You can see Topsham, Blackdown Hills, Exton, Lympstone, Kenton, Powderham Castle, Starcross, Exmouth, Portland Bill and Dawlish Warren as well as other places. Please keep children under supervision at all times as there is a steep drop beyond the low wooden barrier. From here continue along the main footpath. When the footpath forks and the signpost says 'Short Loop (left)' and 'Long Loop (straight ahead)' you should follow the arrow for 'Long Loop (straight ahead)'. At the end of this path there will be another signpost. Follow this to the left continuing along the 'Long Loop' trail. A short way along this path you will see a small stony path on your right (N50 37.214 W003 31.451). Take this path through the vegetation and from here you are on your own. Good luck.
Apologies but the lid on the cache is quite stiff and may require some force to open. Inside this cache are two plastic folders. One contains the 'Logbook' which is actually a birthday card. Sign with a message or simply your name and date. The other contains many photo props so that you can take a funny photo and upload it to the cache page. Please do NOT take the props out of the cache. We are looking forward to seeing your silly photos. The props are put together using 'Crazy Glue' and so may slightly stick to each other so please bear this in mind when taking them out and replacing them.
When we went to check on this one it appeared the co-ords were slightly off (due to tree cover) so will add a *SPOILER* pic to the gallery. At the time of placing the cache it contained a logbook (card), 3 pens, folder full of photo props for selfies (to stay in cache), a Dancing Penguin toy for FTF (girl), a Batman car for FTF (male) and 3 'blind bags' (Star Wars, Emojis and Zelfs) for swag. Cache has plenty of room for swaps and trackables. Please rehide well. A bit of stickoflage is always welcome.
