Geocache Description:

A straightforward puzzle. All you need to do is solve this familiar puzzle format and plug in the results into the table.


ZQX, mtbikeroz, BatGirlandCo, FoxInJox, Tealby, AngelG27 and JmanJezza all went out caching on world geocaching day. Each found a different cache type. Each cache type had a unique D/T rating. Using the statements below, try to work out who found which cache.

  1. The cache with a difficulty of D4.5 is either a Virtual or the cache found by ZQX.
  2. The Earth Cache has a difficulty 1 star higher than the cache that is terrain T2.
  3. The cache that is terrain T2 has a difficulty 2 stars lower than the Virtual cache.
  4. The cache that is terrain T4 has a difficulty that is lower than the cache found by mtbikeroz.
  5. The cache that is terrain T4 has a difficulty 2.5 stars lower than the cache that is terrain T5.
  6. The cache that is terrain T2 has a difficulty that is higher than the Traditional cache.
  7. The cache found by Tealby has a difficulty half a star lower than the cache found by AngelG27.
  8. The cache that is terrain T3.5 is either the cache found by BatGirlandCo or the cache found by Fox in Jox.
  9. The Virtual cache wasn't found by mtbikeroz.
  10. Of the cache with a difficulty of D3.5 and the cache that is terrain T4.5, one is found by BatGirlandCo and the other is the Earth Cache.
  11. The cache found by JmanJezza has a difficulty 1.5 stars higher than the cache that is terrain T3.5.
  12. The WhereIGo has a difficulty that is higher than the cache that terrain in T5.
  13. The cache found by Fox in Jox has a difficulty 1 star higher than the Multi.
  14. The cache with a difficulty of D5 doesn't have a terrain rating of T2.5.
  15. The Letterbox has a difficulty half a star lower than the cache that is terrain T3.5.

After you solve the puzzle put the answers in the table then multiply the difficulty and terrain rating of each row, then round down to the nearest whole number. Then use these values in the formula for the south and east fractional minutes.
