L’Estany de l’Orri és un llac molt petit d’origen glaciar a 2.161m. d’altitud que apareix de forma inesperada al nostre camí, en un lloc ben amagat i enfonsat al mig d’un bosc de pi negre i grans blocs de granit.
És un lloc màgic i tranquil, ideal per descansar i disfrutar del paisatge, escoltar els ocells, el vent i el silenci.
La paraula orri ve d’una construcció en forma de cercle on els pastors munyien les ovelles i feien el formatge. La funció de l’orri era ajudar als pastors a controlar i mantenir les ovelles agrupades.

L'estany de l'Orri is a very small lake of glacial origin at 2.161m. altitude appears unexpectedly on our way, in a well-hidden and sunk in the middle of a pine forest and large granite blocks.
It is a magical and peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. Listen to the birds, wind and silence.
The word comes from bulk construction in a circle where the shepherds the sheep were milked and made cheese. The function of the bulk was to help pastors to control and keep the sheep clustered.
