After closing a meeting place of a held Saitama exhibition in 1988, it's a park of Saitama prefectural maintained as a park.
Autumn in 2004 also came in a main stadium of held 59th time National Sports Festival "SAINOKUNI, the National Athletic Meet".
Such as having been also used for photography of a movie "boy in the 20th century" around athletic stadium and indoor movement facilities at a close walking course, the therapy garden where I interchange with senior citizens and persons with disabilities through a plant "hill in four seasons" and the inside with a crowd square according to athletic stadium, indoor movement facilities and the play facilities in a rugby playground at this park, it's often used as music videotaping and location material around the facilities.
A rugby playground in the facilities is repaired current as of June, 2016, and the thing which is used as one of meeting places of held rugby World Cup 2019 decides on 2019.
This Cache was installed in POINT which can look at such rugby playground.

熊谷スポーツ文化公園 1988年に開催されたさいたま博覧会（さいたま博）の会場を閉会後に公園として整備された埼玉県営の公園である。
平成16年秋に開かれた第59回国民体育大会「彩の国まごごろ国体」のメイン会場にもなりました。
この公園では、陸上競技場や屋内運動施設（彩の国くまがやドーム）、ラグビー場などの競技施設とあわせて、身近なウォーキングコースや、植物を通じて高齢者や障害者の方々と交流するセラピーガーデン「四季の丘」、にぎわい広場などがあるなかで、陸上競技場や屋内運動施設（彩の国くまがやドーム）周辺では、映画『20世紀少年』の撮影にも使われたことがあるなど施設周辺ではミュージック・ビデオ撮影やロケ地として使われることが多い。
また施設内のラグビー場は2016年６月現在改修工事が行われており、２０１９年に開催されるラグビーワールドカップ2019の会場の一つとして使われることが決定している。
今回のキャッシュは、そんなラグビー場を眺められるポイントに設置しました。
