I thought about hiding & dedicating a Geocache as soon as I heard about this awful incident & I also wanted to find a street, avenue, circle, etc that was named Orlando. At first I had difficulty then found this short road in the 84119 zip code that seemed to be perfect. But was there going to be another Geocache too close? This happened recently when I found the perfect place to hide one while hiking in the canyon and found this perfect rusty old tractor...picturesque and only drawback were the yellow jackets. When we checked it was too close and I was heart broken.. this time. It all worked out on a quiet street in a business/industrial area. Best time will be during non business/office hours, 8- 9 To 5- 6, M- F but anytime is ok as it is not on PP. Inside a FOR prize and in have a 7 section plastic pill container i bought at the $1 store. In each unit I have a different item it trade gift. In 1 unit is a new log and baggie...also a few random rainbow theme items in dedication to the event and also Pride month as celebrated all over the world in June. I encourage trading items with the Orlando theme and/or rainbow theme. LGBT support and love. This is an easy park and grab but during the day it is close to a security check point in the east side of the short road. This hopefully will be my 5th hide, and the the most meaningful. I look forward to and will encourage many pictures and logs of thoughts, feelings and condolences
PLEASE I encourage pictures/selfies, the more the better...detailed logs, dedications, condolences, stories, etc also..please try to trade items themed with Rainbow or Orlando type things..If any attention is ever needed message me right away, any questions, concerns, I am always open to messaging..if anyone is worried about the security gate and they are getting the cache during the day and have any eyes on them, feel free to explain to anyone concerned within the nearby business what it is and you can relay them my number/email for any questions.
*adding some more rainbow themed/LGBTQ swag container right now, As with the previous logs O encourage adding 1 or more photos and also any thoug ts, memories, etc regarding the incident or related human rights related topic
