Para disfrutar de este cache al maximo tendreis que esperar a que el sol se ponga y Vitoria-Gasteiz quede iluminada por la luz de la luna. Yo personalmente creo que nuestro casco medieval es realmente espectacular, y el aura de la noche le otorga ese puntito extra para convertirlo en algo casi magico.
Las coordenadas iniciales de este cache os llevaran a la entrada del Laberinto de la Almendra en el que se esconde el cache que con tantas ganas querréis firmar. Con ayuda de una linterna deberéis buscar puntos reflectantes que os irán mostrando el camino hasta el cache final. Los puntos están localizados en el mobiliario urbano, casi siempre a unos 2-3 metros de altura, por lo que debereis agudizar la vista. Una vez hayáis visto un par de ellos, os será muy fácil encontrar el resto. Pero como en todo laberinto, habrá desvíos, calles sin salida, pasadizos bloqueados, etc. Y es por eso que a medida que vayáis avanzando en el laberinto en ocasiones encontrareis puntos reflectantes con otro punto reflectante rojo, y lo que esto significa es que esa calle está bloqueada y no podréis seguir avanzando por ahí. En ese punto deberéis seguir buscando que otras alternativas tenéis para poder continuar, a veces os tocará elegir por que calle seguir, y a veces os tocará retroceder incluso. Os aconsejaría tener impreso el siguiente mapa (podreis conseguir uno de estos mapas en el establecimiento en el que empieza el recorrido. Si llegais y aun esta abierto, preguntad a algun trabajador por el mapa Geocaching y os darán uno por grupo. He intendo avisar a todo el personal del mapa, asi que espero que sepan que les estais pidiendo, jeje) para poder ir marcando como vais progresando en el laberinto, si sois Vitorianos de toda la vida no creo que os haga falta, pero para los que estáis visitando la ciudad os puede servir como buena referencia para no desorientaros. Tened en cuenta que hay alguna calle dividida a la mitad por las escaleras metálicas, pero esa calle cuenta como una sola, independientemente que vayáis por la izquierda, por la derecha o por dentro de las escaleras.

Os comento lo de tener el mapa impreso porque si avanzando por el laberinto veis un reflectante rojo bloqueando una calle, (aunque he marcado todas las calles bloquedas en ambas direcciones para que resulte mas fácil), vosotros ya podreis saber de antemano que esa calle estará bloqueda si se da el caso en el que llegaseis al otro extremo de la calle, como muestro en el siguiente ejemplo.
Sabréis que habéis llegado el final del recorrido cuando llegueis a algun punto en el que no haya posibilidad de avanzar mas por el laberinto, por lo que en ese momento debereis buscar por los alrededores con vuestra linterna hasta que encontreis un grupo de reflectantes situados todos en un mismo punto. Ahí, en el punto donde veáis el grupo de reflectantes, deberéis buscar el cache que estará escondido en un radio de unos 2-3 metros. Esta bien camuflado pero yo creo que un geocacher experimentado dará enseguida con el.
Si bien este cache esta planteado como un cache nocturno, como los puntos reflectantes son de gran tamaño, es posible que hasta lo podáis llegar a realizar de día. Yo recomiendo hacerlo de noche (y sobre todo un día entre semana, cuando las calles del centro estaán casi desiertas) por que será bastante mas divertido, pero quería comentar esto para aquellos geocachers que vengan a pasar un día a Vitoria-Gasteiz y no se queden a pernoctar.

To fully enjoy this cache you will have to wait for the sun to set and wait for the moonlight bathing Vitoria-Gasteiz. I personally think that our medieval oldtown is really spectacular, and the night aura gives that little extra to turn it into something almost magical.
The given coordinates of this cache will take you to the entrance to a Labyrinth ( located within the streets of the Vitoria-Gasteiz oldtown) that hides the cache that you would love to sign. You need to use a flashlight to look for reflective points that you will show you the way to the final cache. The points are usually located about 2-3 meters high, so sharpen your sight. Once you have seen a couple of them, it will be easier for you to find the rest. But as in all mazes, there will be detours, dead ends, blocked passages, etc. And that is why as you progress in the labyrinth sometimes your will also find reflective dots with another red reflective point, and that will mean that this street is blocked and you can not keep walking ahead this point. So in that moment you must keep looking for other alternatives to continue, sometimes you will have to choose which street you wanna follow, and sometimes you will even have to go back to a starting point. I suggest having the map printed (You could get one map at the bar where the cache begins. If you arrive and it is still open, ask any of the waiters for the Geocaching map, and they will hand you one per group. I try to explain everybody about it, so I hope they know what you are talkinjr about, hehe) to track your progress as a good reference to not get lost and be orientated. Be aware that there are some streets divided in the middle by some scalators, but that streets counts as just one, regardless that you go on the left, on the right or within stairs.

I suggest the printed map because when your are moving through the maze and you see a red reflective pin blocking a street, although all blocked streets are marked in both directions, you will already know beforehand that that street will be blocked in the case that you arrive at the other end , as I show in the following example:
You will know that you have reached the end when there is no possibility to move ahead in the maze, so look around for a group of reflecting pins on a single spot. There, at the point where the group of reflective pins, you have to look for the cache in a radius of about 2-3 meters around. The cache is well camouflaged but I think that an experienced geocacher will quickly find it .
While this cache was designed to be a night cache, as the reflective pins are very large, you may even see then in daylight. I recommend doing this cache at night (especially on a weekday night, when the downtown street are almost empty) as it will be more fun, but I wanted to mention this for those geocachers who come to spend just a day in Vitoria-Gasteiz and do not stay overnight.
