The cache is a camo'd micro placed above the waterline but no trees involved in this one. The micro is smaller than the others in the series. While the cache was placed by kayak it would be possible to reach it by swimming a short distance. If you choose to do this you should be a competent swimmer and be aware that the lough waters can be very cold.
I have deliverately not given a hint to justify the high difficulty. The lower terrain rating reflects the possibilty that a boat need not be used.
There is a closer slipway that the one listed, however I cant establish if the closer one is public access.
The cache is placed near the hydraulically controlled dam which regulates water releases from the Lough towards Lough Ross.
