As we travel along this slight detour, you will notice some nice open views to the east, there was still snow here when we placed them making it even nicer. Just up the road is an old farm shed, it was making quite a racket blowing sheets of iron in the wind.
This is not for short people, it should be easy, but PLEASE, DO NOT PUT THE ROCK ON THE CACHE! The rock is just there to stop it from blowing out of this spot.
Before you rush out onto stage 2 of The Road Less Travelled, PLEASE note the following:
- All roads have been picked to be 2wd suitable, IN THE RIGHT CONDITIONS.
- Roads/Forests can be closed due to a variety of reasons. If the road/forest is closed, do not drive on/enter it.
This is NOT a power trail; this is a touring trail designed to be done at a more relaxed pace over a few days. No need to rush, there are plenty of accommodation options along the way for all budgets from free camping and caravan parks to B&B, hotel or motel in some towns or nearby.
