Geocache Description:

"Woodward Tornadoes"

It is unreal, but the Woodward tornado of 1947 and the Woodward tornado of 2012 both came through this same area. The Woodward tornado on April 9 1947 killed 107 people  and injured over 1000 people, just here in Woodward. The Woodward tornado on April 14, 2012 killed 6 people and injured 20 here in Woodward. As you look around, you can still see some of the pads where buildings once stood.
