With the expansion of suburbia and municipal by-laws, finding open spaces where man’s best friend can run freely without the constraints of an ever so bothersome tug or pull from a leash are becoming scarce. Recently the City of Cape Town has fenced a piece of green-belt running the outer perimeter of Parow North and declared it a “LEASH FREE PARK”.
Once you enter the park make sure to close the gate behind you. Also take note due to security reasons the gate will be locked between 18:00 and 08:00 the following morning. And for your own and others safety bring along a leash just incase...
