This cache is in honor of our city’s firefighters who brave the storm 24/7 to keep us safe.
Today the Campbell County Fire Department responds to more than 2,000 emergencies per year, is staffed 24 hours per day, has 29 career staff, over 150 volunteers, more than 80 pieces of apparatus, serves a population of approximately 50,000 people and covers 5,000 square miles, and continues to provide top-notch emergency services.
