About:
The forth geocache in the Foxes hideaway series is located in Murray Park, into the forested section behind a goal post. Easiest way to get to the cache is to enter a very obvious trail entrance into the forest to the right of the geocache in the field and make your way to the cache from behind using the trails. You will have to do some searching for this one. Cache is great size for trading small items. Please return exactly as you found it. Please bring your own writing utensil
Parking:
Parking is available on side streets around Murray Park
Stealth:
Stealth may be needed if the field is in use for games.
Fox Facts:
Foxes are great night-time predators because their eyes are specially adapted to night vision. Behind the light sensitive cells lies another layer called the tapetum lucidum which reflects light back through the eye. This doubles the intensity of images received by the fox. Their eyes glow green when light is shone into them at night. The fox does not chew its food. Instead it uses its carnassial or shearing teeth to cut the meat into manageable chunks. A fox’s range varies from 10 hectares in cities to over 2000 hectares in rural area.
Congratulations to SpringH2OW on being the first to find.
