Geocache Description:

There is an intersting story to this cache:
In August 2014 a cache was placed here, and was done by two people. It was then archived for reasons unknown.

We were riding the area and decided that there really should be one to highlight this amazing temple.
There has been no planting around the area so hides are a bit scarce. We both remembered there used to be a cache here, so we checked out that location.
Lo and behold, there is a cache there! A 200ml sistema in perfect condition!
We fixed up the logbook, added some new swaps and replaced it.

Now it it ready for you to find.

Heavenly Queen Temple

The remarkable transformation of a vacant Maribyrnong River site into a Buddhist temple complex began with a 16-metre statue of the Heavenly Queen.
The stainless steel, gold-painted statue was designed and made in Nanjing, China. Heavenly Queen, also known as 'Mazu' (Lin Mo Liang A.D. 960-987) was born in Meizhou Island in FuJian Province during the Sung Dynasty in China.

The six-building complex has been a decade in the making, since the 35,930-square-metre site was remediated and sold to the Heavenly Queen Society.
The $5 million first stage of the ornately decorated Buddhist temple, which took five years to build, was completed in May 2013.
The $3 million second stage will include a memorial hall, drum tower, secondary temple, bell tower, lake pavilion and Chinese gardens.
It is expected to be finished by 2019.

"With time and patience, the mulberry leaf becomes a silk gown." So goes the old Chinese proverb. And so rose the temple: a testament to diligence and fortitude.
Devotees the world over believe the Heavenly Queen will protect all those who pray to her before setting out on a journey.

I hope she helps you on your caching trip.
