Hats off to you Traditional Cache

The community of Mackenzie is located at the south end of Williston Lake. The town site was established by Alexandra Forest Industries and Cattermole Timber in 1966 and was dubbed the instant town. Mackenzie is defiantly an industry town, its main industries are logging, lumber, market pulp and tourism.

There are many different businesses in Mackenzie capitalizing on the vast amounts of recourses available; such as Duz Cho Logging,  two sawmills; Canfor Corporation Mackenzie sawmill and Conifex Timber which are major employers in town. There is also the benefit of having Mount Milligan copper-gold operation, Mackenzie Pulp and Conifex power.

Through the past 50 years these businesses have seen many good people on their work sites, at their desks, working hard to help make Mackenzie what it is today. these workers have put in their time and have been loyal to the company they worked for. and what better way to show their devotion (or sianara) but to hang up their hat on retirement.

So hats off to you!
