Sitting on the seats here looking across the mouth of the Laverton Creek you can see Truganina Park, and a bit further on the Cheetham Wetlands. On your right, just over the slight rise was the Truganina Explosives Reserve.
Looking left towards Altona, a good view of the city skyline can be seen, and today a lot closer - The Moscow Circus with all their grazing animals.
