Knagur Green: Due to no response from the CO after the request to maintain or replace the cache, I am archiving it to, stop it showing on the listings and/or to create place for the geocaching community.

The Geocache Maintenance guideline explains a CO's responsibility towards checking and maintaining the cache when problems are reported.

Geocache Description:

The Reserve is open to the public from sunrise to sunset seven days a week.

There is NO ENTRY FEE into the reserve.

A short hike into the 650ha Kliprivier Nature Reserve you will come across the hiding spot. One of the favorite food sources of the Giraffe is the acacia tree. There is a vast number of acacia species that occur in South Africa, the Acacia Karroo better know as the Sweet Thorn is one such species that you will come across on your hike through the Kliprivier Nature Reserve. 

You hike to GZ will be a rather short and flat one, of less than 1km when approached from the main entrance. The container is also one of my more ordinary containers, but should this cache and my other caches in the reserve see many visitors the will certainly see an upgrade :-).

Reason for 1.5/2 Rating:

The hike to the cache is a flat one of just under 1km from the main entrance to the reserve. As this is not a road side grab and it does involve some walking, the terrain is set at 2. the cache, although in a camo container should easily be spotted.

Hopefully you will enjoy finding this cache as much as we enjoyed creating it.
