Geocache Description:

If your visiting Northern Wyoming's Big Horn Mountains, Near Burgess Junction on route 14, this day use picnic spot will offer both nice place to chill by the Tongue River and a chance to find this Cache.  If you have not already stopped at Sibley Lake, you can try for the geocache there as well.

Waypoints are suggestions and not exact. When driving route 14 near Burgess Junction, you will need to turn North onto Route 15.  You won't need a 4 wheel drive vehicle when there is no snow.  The road is not paved, but maintained and accessible to most vehicles.  You will cross a bridge and river that often has moose hanging out.  (Do not put any wildlife in your vehicle if they look cold).  Take the first right after the bridge.  Follow this road to end of the day use area that is nestled between a canyons face and the Tongue River.  Once in the day use area, the end of the road has a slight foot trail the follows next to the Tongue river.

Caution: Getting to the cache involves rock hopping, steeper grade with loose soil. Area may be challenging and not be suitable for children.  NOTE: You don't need to climb the canyon face nor cross any water.  Follow the trail between the rock cliffs and river. Pass a primitive camp site.  You will come to an opening with some more fallen rocks. Your wont have to go beyond this area.

Cache is a pale see through container with Black lid.

If you are in the area, check out another Geocache...WY Nordic Trail near Sibley Lake.
