Geocache Description:

Join us at MacElmon's Pond picnic park on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 1-3pm to celebrate Parks Day.

This event is an introduction to geocaching and will also highlight the Provincial Parks Geocaching Passport. The event itself is wheelchair friendly but the nearby and demonstration geocaches are not. There will be demonstrations as well as some geocaches placed on site for people to find. Bring your own GPS units, if you have them. If you do not have a GPS units, there will be a limited number for you to use free of charge. Instruction will be provided to those needing any assistance. Dress appropriately for the weather. There is no rain date scheduled. Participants will meet at the picnic area. This sponsored by the Association of Nova Scotia Geocaching.
