Geocache Description:

Parker Dam's annual event cache. Good cache food, good cacher fellowship, and ammo can throw fun.
Where: Parker Dam State Park - Pavilion 3 is reserved for the event (same spot as last year).
When: Saturday, September 10, 2016.   11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. +

Who?  -  All geocachers welcome (geodogs)  (muggles too).

What? - An event cache, plain and simple.

When? - Yep, September 10, 11ish.

Where? - Do you really need to ask?  You're geocachers!

Why? - Because it's an annual event. And we have to establish the bragging rights for the ammo can toss for 2016.

Food: Hotdogs, buns, and condiments will be provided. As always, bring a dish to share (and/or non-alcoholic beverage) and place settings for your party. Any food dish should be themed to geocaching in some way, shape, or form (and labeled in case we miss the geo-connection).

Amenities: Shelter (Pavilion 3), limited electrical outlets, restroom nearby, playground nearby, swimming beach nearby, overlooks lake.

Camping is available in the park's class A campground. (We have some full hookup sites ~ new this year.)  Cabins may also be available. Reservations can be made by calling 1-888-PA-PARKS (727-2757) or on-line at http://pennsylvaniastateparks.reserveamerica.com/.  (Please be extra careful using the new reservation system - it can be a challenge to navigate.)

Rules & Regs: No alcoholic beverages, pets must be on a leash.

Activities:
* Annual FTF race
* Ammo Can Toss - distance contest.  2:00 p.m. Prizes (and bragging rights).

Please post a note as to the most excellent geogrub you will be bringing so the rest of us can plan accordingly.
