Geocache Description:


Welcome to Hornby!  Hornby used to be a very busy town in the 1800's with a train station, a brewery, and multiple hotels and mills.  It then became a residential hamlet before starting to expand again in recent years, most noticably with the Toronto Premium Outlets mall.  A new 'welcome to' sign was added at this location in 2016, paid for by donations from the residents.

The container is a matchstick holder.  Watch out for the ditch surrounding the clearing.  There is a wide shoulder for parking on the Hornby Rd. side.
