Navigation note: The trail bends around the mountain as you near the cache. Don't stay on the trail. Rather, head up the ridge, which requires bushwhacking, especially at first. However, you should soon find a fairly good trail up the ridge heading toward this cache and the final summit.
K2 is the second highest mountain in the world.
