Geocache Description:

The name speaks for itself.

Located on a little-known nature trail that is in front of the local BLM office. There are many specimens of native Nevada trees and also many little critters that like to hide among the foliage in this area. Take some time to learn while you're here, and keep your eyes open for one of Nevada's state trees that seems to have something a bit unusual... Congrats to nvgoldfish on FTF!

Nevada has two state trees:

Single-Leaf Piñon, an aromatic pine tree with short, stiff needles and gnarled branches

Bristlecone Pine, the oldest living thing on earth, with some specimens in Nevada more than 4,000 years old
