This cache sits at an old viewpoint of Coquitlam lake up on Burke Ridge. Unfortunately the view of the lake is partially blocked by trees and other plant life, but you can still see the lake partially. There is a newer viewpoint above this one that may have a better view.
The best way to access this cache is to start at Harper road, and make you way along the woodland walk trail. Make sure to use the upper loop if you have already grabbed the caches along this trail, this way you will not loose elevation. Once you get close to Saw Blade Falls, the trail will become much steeper than it has been up to this point. It will be uphill until you reach the viewpoint.
It is highly recommended that you bring a map when attempting this cache, the trails in this park are numerous and maze like. The trails also become less well marked the further north you go, so make sure you keep an eye out for trail markers.
The cache itself is a medium sized lock and lock about ten meters from the main viewpoint. To get to the viewpoint, you will have to head west when you reach the sign saying to head up to the new viewpoint. The cache is hidden at the base of a stump. Please do not place swag or travel bugs in this cache as they will probably be stuck in the cache indefinitely. There is a pen in the cache, but bring your own just in case.
