Kynan touched us all with his fighting spirit, but the heart defect was not survivable. His parents miss him terribly but are getting on with their lives. As Kynan's geocacher mum said: "My son was born with multiple complex heart defects at Mater Mothers Hospital and transferred to Lady Cilento Children's Hospital for surgery. Sadly, Kynan's heart developed further defects during his first week of life and he was not able to make it to surgery. Our son passed away on Rememberance Day 2015. Kynan fought as hard as he could, but could not fight any longer".
