MSTzilla: This has been a fun series and I thank everyone who took on the adventure, but the time has come to wrap it up. With my relocation to NC and the reasons for my return up north diminished, I feel it is better to open up this area to new caches. So have at it. I hope you have as much fun as I did. Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series located at the Red Wing Recreational Area with permission of the land owner. All caches in this series are along marked and unmarked trails. If you find the want to bushwack any distance, you're going about it the wrong way. No need to know the movie "The Goonies" to find these caches, but it could make for more fun. Remember to CITO where needed so we can all enjoy this beautiful property.

The "Pinchers of Peril" are one of the inventions created by Data, a Goonie of tremendous talent. This is one of his creations that actually works and saves his life when he almost falls to a certain death. Knowing the movie can help you here to know what you are looking for, but sharp eyed cachers should be able to spot it.
