MSTzilla: This has been a fun series and I thank everyone who took on the adventure, but the time has come to wrap it up. With my relocation to NC and the reasons for my return up north diminished, I feel it is better to open up this area to new caches. So have at it. I hope you have as much fun as I did. Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series located at the Red Wing Recreational Area with permission of the land owner.All caches in this series are along marked and unmarked trails. If you find the want to bushwack any distance, you're going about it the wrong way. No need to know the movie "The Goonies" to find these caches, but it could make for more fun. Remember to CITO where needed so we can all enjoy this beautiful property.

The wishing well is a turning point in the movie. The Goonies come across the wishing well while trapped in the tunnels below. They have to decide whether to escape with their lives but move out of Astoria for good, or take a chance that they will find One-Eyed Willy's treasure and be able to stay together. It's not just the original Goonies that decide to continue one, but also the three others who have joined them, thus setting up the climactic finish. Just make a wish here and bring up your prize.
