Grid Reference Traditional Cache

IMPORTANT: FOR SAFETY’S SAKE, PLEASE DON’T PARK AT THE CACHE COORDINATES.  The best way to reach the cache is on foot – it’s just a few metres from a right of way which runs alongside the quiet River Loud.  But if you come by car, please use the parking co-ordinates just up the hill to the east. Parking immediately by the cache is dangerous.

This cache is hidden inside the justifiably underused Loud Bridge Public Library, which has new premises (our old premises were flawed).  You are welcome to borrow a book at the same time.  Book donations are welcome.

As usual, to claim the cache, you’ll need to sign the logbook.  If you’re not sure whether you’ve found the logbook… then you haven’t!

The librarians are well aware that the cache is there.  The cache is available 24/7, but if you come during library opening hours, do feel free to knock on the door and say hello.

As for those grid references: several metres west of the cattle, and two feet north of the drainage.  Wheelchair users can access the cache site, but are likely to need assistance to retrieve the cache itself.
