Geocache Description:

The A470 driveby series is consists of five straightforward hides placed along the A470 as it climbs over the pass to the slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog.

There is a bench in the layby not far from the hide, with a nicely planted garden. Please replace the container securely and well hidden and please try not to be observed if other people are in the parking areas when you visit. We have tried to place them in such a way you should be able to access them at all times. You will need to remember your own pen. The series has been placed to not only give you chance for a few bonus finds, but also to allow you to stop and enjoy the beautiful scenery as the A470 climbs up and over the pass to Blaenau Ffestiniog.
