Geocache Description:

A nice scenic walk alongside the Sprotbrough side of the River Don. Lovely atmosphere and enjoyable time. Cache placed with kind permission of the Environment agency. Two mills used to be on this site, the first was a reference to which was made in 1279 when Sir William Fitzwilliam let to Henry Carpenter the corn mill. The other mill (A walk or fulling mill) was situated on the south side of the river.
