I was so awestruck with the beauty of this area in general - and the trail that follows the stream further up onto the mountain, in particular - that I decided to place a cache here. Hopefully, others will come here to search for this cache, as well as the others here... and experience the beauty of these woods, too!
To reach the cache, simply hike the gamelands road from the parking lot up and over it's first incline. In no time, you'll see a fork in the main road, with another road heading off to your left, just prior to a large clearing on the right. Take the road to the left, and after a short downhill walk, you'll come to a wooden bridge. Once you reach the bridge, the cache is close by! Now, do you cross the bridge... or not.?.?.?
The container you'll be looking for was a medium-sized plastic coffee jar that has been camo's with woodsy-colored duct tape, and is large enough to hold trackables! It contains a log only, so please bring your own pen... and please rehide as found.
