Hamstall and Hunger Hill #8 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

PickNMix: I have reluctantly decided to archive this series as there have been continual problems with caches going AWOL, not helped by the uncaring attitude of the landowner to walkers.

I'll leave the remaining 9 caches until this spring when they will be archived

Thanks to everyone who has made the effort to find these

Geocache Description:

A series of 12 caches taking in Hamstall Church, the remains of Hamstall Hall and the view from the summit of Hunger Hill. The route, which is approximately 2.5 miles, can be overgrown in places in summer. Two of the landowners are particular about sticking to the paths, so please read the route details between #2 and #3 and also from #8 to #9 and back to #10. These can be found in the descriptions of the affected caches.

After completing this cache, cross the stile and turn immediately left, following the hedge boundary until you reach a footpath sign by a black building. Take a 90 degree right here where you will reach the Trig Pillar and the possibility of logging YOSM (GC45CC)

From the Trig Pillar continue across the field, turning left at the hedge boundary. Follow this to a small stile into a wood near #9
