The Turkey Creek Hydrocache is easy to find and contains information about the storm drains to Turkey Creek. The cache is just west of the Turkey Creek Streamway Trail in Merriam.

Water Quality Hydrocaching is geocaching with a twist! Developed by Friends of the Kaw with the help of a grant from Johnson County Stormwater Management. Hydrocaching uses the geocache format to help you learn about how stormwater runoff effects water quaility in the Kansas River. Ten new hydrocaches will be placed at Best Management Practice (BMP) locations that effect or minimize the amount of pollution that enters our creeks and rivers in Johnson County.
