Die wohl weithin markanteste von ihnen ist die E126. Sie ist zugleich der leistungsstärkste Windkraftanlagentyp der Welt (E126 = 7,5MW) als auch die größte Einzelanlage ihrer Art (Höhe: 198m, Rotordurchmesser: 126m). Allein die E126 erzeugt jährlich ca. 15-18 Mio. kWh Strom. Diese wird aber sehr bald durch einen neuen Typen, jedenfalls in den Abmessungen, übertrumpft: E141-EP4 (141m Rotordurchmesser, Höhe 229m, 4,2MW Leistung). Noch ein Maximum vor Ort: Magdeburgs größter Arbeitgeber (>5.300) und größter Produktionsstandort im Konzern (in D).

Here you stand in front of Magdeburg's second largest energy producer: 5 wind turbines with approx. 18MWel - electricity for approx. 30,000 Magdeburgers.
The most striking of them is the E126. It is also the most powerful wind turbine type in the world (E126 = 7.5MW) and the largest single turbine of its kind (height: 198m, rotor diameter: 126m).
