Geocache Description:

Cache in Trache Out or CITO event ... a chance to give back to the community where geocaches are placed.

By attending, you will be awarded the Souvenir for CITO Week September 2016

Please note that this is a T5 Event and as such will require you to use Specialist Equipment - available to borrow on a 1st come 1st served basis.
As the name suggests ‘Devoran Creek Kayak Clean UP’ will involve paddling out on the Devoran Creek to remove rubbish that has collected in areas that are impossible to reach on foot due to the deep mud and large reed beds. You will need to provide your own method of getting to GZ and please only cache within your limits

What?
This event will take place on the Devoran Creek, by the quay

Where?
We will meet on the quay at the additional waypoint, where parking is available.
Please note that parking is limited here, but kayaks can be unloaded and parking is available fairly close by.
The terrain rating for this event reflects the fact that a boat is required to get to the headline coordinates and attend the event without getting extremely wet!

When?
Saturday 16th September at 1700 - 18.00ish

This event is scheduled to last for 1 hour.

How?
The given co-ords are the start point for the cito
The Restronguet Creek Society, who have been safeguarding the Natural Beauty of Restronguet Creek since 1972, has given full support for this event.

Bin bags will be supplied but please bring your own gloves and be aware that any rubbish you collect will need to be transported back to the additional waypoint for disposal, where I and members of the Restronguet Creek society will arrange removal to the tip.

We will have a couple of sit on top kayaks available for you to use, but you obviously do so at your own risk.

Socialising Afterwards
Within yards of the quay is the Old Quay Inn where we could go for a pint or two afterwards and I owe Spooky Luke a cider for his help;)
