This is 6th in the CO’s “Go Take a Hike” series. This cache has 8 stages (including posted coordinates and the final cache) and is *not* at the posted coordinates. From Stage 1 through to Stage 8 (final cache) requires about a half mile walk around South Park. All stages are “virtual” stages except the final. At each stage you will find information which, after doing some minor computations, will lead you to the next stage. Except for Stage 1, the tasks at each stage are given as waypoints below so be sure to have these waypoints with you as you work the cache. You will also want to have some means of keeping track of information as you go.
Finding the information at each stage is not very difficult, but this is rated difficulty 3 as there are 8 stages and if there are errors in your calculations you may be sent off the route. Be sure to take the time to do the computations carefully.
All coordinates start with N38 and W095.
At Stage 1 (posted coordinates), you should find yourself standing on a curious Lawrence landmark. Gather this information:
A = the number of sides this landmark has
B = the number of steps this landmark has, including the top step
