Geocache Description:

A short tour of the Union Buildings lesser known monuments

This idea came to me while visiting the SAPS memorial one day (no, not for the cache, I have done that one!) and realised how many people rush in to see other monuments and statues and rush out again, whereas there a numerous other just as fascinating rememberances at the Union Buildings.

This gave rise to the idea of doing this whereigo!

Wherigo Icon

So I planted a cache here somewhere but to find it you need to download and play the related wherigo called Union Buildings Forgotten Monuments.

It is a short walk through the beautiful gardens around the Union Buildings, that combines some history with a geocaching adventure.

All the information needed to find the cache is provided when you complete the Wherigo, including the final coordinates and the hint. Please ensure that you replace the cache and its covering exactly as it was found.

There is also a prize for the FTF of an unregistered micro-coin!  Good luck!
