The Georgia Geo-Campers will be camping for the first time at Skidaway Island State Park the weekend of November 12th and we would love for
you to join us. This will be a special weekend at Skidaway Island! We will be arriving early so we can get set up and be at the
'Going Coastal Reunion' with johnnie and the GGA.
After the day's festivities, come relax around the campfire with us as we wind down the day, camp fire style! The Trail Head coordinates (in the additional waypoints section) will take you to the trail and our site is located approximately 1/2 mile from trail head. Watch for the signs. Parking is limited so carpooling is encouraged.
Some camping geocachers will be arriving on the 11th to take full advantage of all the activities being planned for this weekend and to discover this unique State Park located along Georgia's inter-coastal waterway.
Schedule of Activities:
7:00pm - Bonfire (we supply the s'mores)
8:00pm - Prizes/Activities - including the Jackpot Camper Drawing (bring un activated trackables to participate)

COST:
$25 per tent for two days camping (Friday and Saturday). Site is for HIKE IN campers. Parking is available approximately 1/2 mile from site. Bring a cart for your gear, if needed. This is primitive style camping with no electricity. Please pack accordingly. There is running water and a pit privy at the site.
NOTE:
Please sign up *here* for reservations with in your "Will Attend" or email via our profile if you want to camp in our group. *PLEASE DO NOT CALL THE PARK!* We have the area reserved and will collect camping fees on site. eg ----> Will Attend - one camp needed.
