Geocache Description:

Well done to cravo10 and Barnzy12 for FTF! :) For those who are familiar with the Albany Highway or if it is a once off trip passing the Boscabel-Chittinup road, you are probably unaware there is a small townsite just 3km down.

Welcome to Boscabel!

The name of the townsite was suggested in 1912 by the local progress association and was later gazetted in 1913. The English name is believed to be named after Boscobel House in Shropshire. There is a cemetery, hall, site of the Boscabel school and what remains of tennis courts and a clubhouse. The cache is located at the hall where there is ample parking. Many dances and parties were held here some time ago including the annual Boxing Night Ball, and even the odd wedding. Some events are still held here today so please be respectful of the area.

Other than the few locals passing by now and then there should be no problems with muggles. So don't pass up the opportunity to have a walk around or even have a squiz at the cemetery on the way out.

A relatively easy find, the cache is a 1L sistema and originally contains a FTF certificate, pen, blue pencil, sharpener, frog stickers, a hacky sack, a purple and gold die, a pig eraser, bouncy ball, plush dragon and mini handcuffs. FTF will also come across 2 trackables. Happy caching!
