This cache is part of the Coast Trail between Sant Elm and Port Andratx
Important hint (October 2024): Decide by yourself, the track erodet in the past year and your mobile phone might not have reception.
NEVER DO THIS TRACK JUST BY YOURSELF!
This cache is easy to get if coming from the East (Port d'Andratx). If you come from the West (Sant Elm), there is first two large stones to cross (on plate on the ground and another one above it). Remove your backpack, push it through and climb over like a crab.
About 30m behind (direction Port d'Andratx) the track erodet pretty much in the last year. I just crossed it and must say I cannot recommend to do it anymore, as it's rather T5.
This point lies directly in between those two parts of the trail:
N 39° 33.574', E002° 21.410'
The terrain 50 meters West of of #07 (La cabeza del Dragonera) has some slippery grounds, but is not really dangerous. What can happen:
- Slip and fall into a thorny bush
- Step with one foot on long grass and catch the other foot with it :O)
- Step in between bushes and discover that the ground is deeper than you thought
